Welcome to the Crossroads to the West Regional Rodeo in beautiful Ogden, Utah. This year’s rodeo is once again at the Weber County Fairgrounds, Golden Spike arena, located at 1000 N 1200 W, Ogden, Utah 94404. General Information

The 4th Anniversary of The Crossroads of the West Regional Rodeo is an IGRA-Sanctioned Rodeo, and all IGRA Rules apply. The rodeo application was approved by the IGRA Board of Directors on Nov 13, 2025, and included a variance for the arena size of 100 feet wide by 180 feet long.

Admission tickets are $20.00 per day for Saturday and Sunday. Weekend pass prices are TBD.

All 2026 IGRA Rodeo Rules will be in effect at the 2026 Crossroads of the West Rodeo. The rest of the officials names will be added in as they confirm.

Contestant Registration

Registration is Friday, June 26, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Golden Spike Arena in the conference room.  If you have an emergency and will be late you must call the Rodeo Secretary.  All entry fees must be paid by cash or card, please no checks.

Late Entry Fee

Late registrations will be accepted for all events except Ranch Saddle Bronc, Bull riding, and Steer riding. The late registration fee will be fifty-dollars ($50.00). The late fee applies only to contestants who have been assigned a four (4) digit IGRA contestant number greater than 30 days from the registration date and who are registering late for chute dogging or roping events or adding these events.

Rodeo Buddy Passes

Buddy passes are $25 each and will be available at contestant registration ONLY on Friday, June 26, 2026. No buddy passes will be available after the close of registration. The buddy must be present at registration and sign the liability waiver at the time when the badge is purchased. No replacement buddy passes will be issued if original is lost, stolen, or destroyed. Contestants travelling with children aged 14 and under, junior buddy passes are available for free. There is a maximum of 1 adult, and 2 junior buddy passes per contestant.

Added Money

$15,000 has been added to the weekend money.

Rodeo School

UGRA will have a Rodeo School on Friday – June 26, 2026, in conjunction with the 2026 Crossroads of the West Regional Rodeo. The school will be at:

On-site registrations may be completed between 10:00 am and 11:00 am on Friday.

Participants are encouraged to pre-register and email the entry forms to Kirk Critchlow-Speth at jazzmendchanel@gmail.com even if you do not pay your entry fees at this time. If you want to pay in advance using a credit card, call Kirk at (385) 528-4416. Payments will be accepted Friday morning on site via credit card, cash, or check payable to UGRA.

Bronc Riding

Ranch Saddle Bronc Riding will be offered as a pre-registered event only. We are planning on splitting this event into 3 heats if needed depending on the number of pre-registered contestants. Contestant badge must be worn at all times for all events

Men go first on Saturday; Women go first on Sunday.  

We will start the rodeo each day at 10:00 AM  with Grand Entry.

A post rodeo review meeting will happen in the Grandstands 30 minutes after the last event is posted

Awards Ceremony

The Awards Ceremony is scheduled to begin No Later Than 8PM on Sunday June 28th, 2026, in the Auction Hall on the Weber County Fairgrounds located at 1000 N 1200 W, Ogden, UT 94404. Also, bring your dancing boots as the UGRA helps the IGRA bring country dancing back to our regional rodeo.

There will be posted rodeo entertainment following the rodeo on Sunday.

Barn Information

We are happy to announce that thanks to an amazing sponsor there will be no stall fee this year. With that being said it is not an open invitation to go crazy and bring more horses than what you as a competitor will need for your personal use or that you are letting a fellow competitor use.

Our barn manager is Anna Housley-McCoy, and her number is (805) 796-2744 Stalls will be open beginning on Thursday, June 25th but if you are planning to come on Wednesday with horses and need a stall, please contact Anna if that is what you need. Shavings are available for the stalls for $14 per bag. Tack stalls are also available.

***PLEASE REMEMBER***

Horses are not allowed in the RV Parking Lot, there is a specific parking lot for horses. Also, please do not feed your horses anywhere but in their stalls. All horses must be off the rodeo grounds by 10:00 AM, Monday, June 29, 2025.

Our veterinarians will be on site and on call.  They are  Northside Animal Clinic, (801) 732-8387 and South Valley Equine, (801) 621-4464

Farriers

Our Farriers are on site and on call all weekend. They are the following individuals:

Other Pets

Please keep pets leashed and near your camp.  Pets are not permitted in any other location of the venue.All legal service animals are allowed.  Please be respectful and clean up after your pets.

Host Hotel

Our host hotel is excited to welcome us back to the Comfort Suites located at 2250 S. 1200 W., Ogden, UT 84401. Room Rates will be $129 per night for all rooms (1 King, 2 Queens, and Suites). RV Spots with Hookups

There are 52 first come first serve RV spots with full hookups.  RV sites are $50 per night for contestants and $70 per night for non-contestants.  To reserve a spot CLICK HERE to reserve your spot.

Smoking Policy

The Golden Spike Arena is a non-smoking venue.  Smoking is permitted outside and if you do smoke outside, please put your cigarette butts in cans.

Non-Participants

Please note that the main gate opens at 10:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. No one without a badge is
permitted on the rodeo grounds prior to this time. If you’re traveling with friends who do not have a buddy pass or badge, please understand that they will not be permitted to enter the grounds until the gates open to the public. Gate opening times are subject to change as the gate opening requires the approval from the Fire Marshall.

Alcohol & Drugs

IGRA Rodeo Rule IV.4 will be strictly enforced by UGRA, along with all other rules. Any participant in an IGRA rodeo as a rodeo contestant, stock contractor and personnel, arena/chute volunteer, rodeo official, or security personnel, may be asked by any acting rodeo official to leave the rodeo arena and secured working areas if under the influence or in possession of an open container of alcohol or any illegal drugs of any kind. Disciplinary action may be taken against any participant in an IGRA rodeo for the possession of an open container of alcohol or any illegal drug in the secured areas of the rodeo including the arena, chutes, barn, or contestant areas at any time from the start of the first rodeo event until the rodeo conclusion each day. Disciplinary action may include disqualification, and/or loss of certification. Disciplinary action may include disqualification, and/or loss of certification.
